Warhammer Questionnaire - Daemons of Chaos & Dark Elves Feedback

Warhammer Questionnaire
Hi everybody, recently I posted up a questionnaire on Warseer and a handful of other Warhammer Forums, and after collating the information it's now time to showcase my findings. I'm going to work through all of the armies first and then I'll talk about the other questions that I had on the Questionnaire. However to start here are the Daemons of Chaos & Dark Elves.

The Daemons of Chaos were considered one of the 'Most Powerful' armies and came in 3rd place which is highly respectable. However despite this they weren't high up on the collection statistics, over 50% of people have never collected them which put them in 10th position overall, and only 10.75% of people use them regularly besides 20.43% of people who use them occasionally. This means that they're 9th in 'Army Popularity' and that not many people consider them to be their Primary force.
The most interesting statistic was the fact that 58% of people wanted the Daemons of Chaos to be removed from the game entirely or rolled into a generic chaos book which goes hand in hand with their seemingly small importance to Warhammer in general. In reality though, this army is the 'Newest Army' and they've not been around as a standalone force for very long which works against them. However it seems that the majority want them to be reabsorbed into a generic chaos book, and perhaps GW should do this by looking at these findings.

Dark Elves were enemy number 1 in terms of their overall rating position as they came in as the most powerful army overall! However this didn't squash their popularity...
People considered them to be the 6th most important army in the Warhammer game, and all the armies above them would be considered the 'Vanilla' armies (Empire, Warriors etc)
It seems that due to their recent release the Dark Elves are used primarily as a Main Collection, which goes hand in hand with their 'Powerful nature'. However they're still only the 6th most popular army overall whereas they're joint with the Daemons of Chaos as being the 10th Least Collected Army. So they're more common on the tables, but less people have collections sat in stasis or that they've parted with - which might explain why GW pushed such a large release for the Dark Elves as they knew there was a huge threshold of people that could potentially purchase them.
Differently to the Daemons though however, the Dark Elves are deemed less likely to be removed and people believe that they can act as a their own force without being rolled into a generic 'Elf' book. Some people did suggest this however, but in general only 4% of people wanted them to be removed from the game leaving them as 11th to be take the chop.
