Warhammer Questionnaire - Ogre Kingdoms & Orcs & Goblins

Warhammer Questionnaire - Ogre Kingdoms & Orcs & Goblins

The Ogres took a beating from these results, overall they were rated as the 7th strongest army however this apparent power didn't translate to them favourably. They were deemed the 15th most important force to the game which leaves them dead last, and collectively they were the army you'll see least on the tabletops and the least amount of people have never collected them. The only positive to take from all of that is the idea that GW has a large market to potentially buy in on future releases - however the Ogres are clearly suffering from being a 'new' army in the grand scheme of things. 32% of people however thought that the Ogre's should be removed, about half of those individuals wanted them to be pulled into a generic Mercenaries army however, so they weren't effectively essential to the Warhammer game but people didn't overly want to see them go.
Roll in the Orcs & Goblins! These guys were the slight reverse of the Ogres really, they weren't deemed the most powerful army, coming in at 11th, however they were (and as I expected) one of the most popular. People considered them to be the 3rd most essential army behind The Empire and Warriors of Chaos and they were the 4th most likely to be seen. The only downside for the Greenskins was the fact that so many people either don't use the army anymore or have sold it on as they had one of the highest mortality rates, regardless though they were the 3rd most collected overall. This may explain why the Orcs always tend to get a handful of kits as there are a huge amount of people with forces already and GW are simply adding to that range. The best bit of info that made me smile the most was not coming across a single individual that wanted to remove the Orcs & Goblins - justice for IMO one of the most enjoyable armies in the game.
